[º] [Becoming-Ljubljanastrophe]

Catastrophe is the past coming apart.
Anastrophe
is the future coming together.”

Two months ago, all the way back in late April 2026, Becoming visited Ljubljana, to participate in a conference in collaboration with Šum Journal and our mutual friends and peers in the local theory scene. It was an intensive schedule packed into a two day programme, covering topics from black holes to psychosis, loosely organized around the common theme of the internet, the digital, cyberspace and their discontents. It was a pleasure to spend that time together, and we have nothing but gratitude to everyone who helped organize, and to everyone who presented, and to everyone who attended and listened thoughtfully to what we—a network of outsiders—had to share.

We will begin publishing each talk, at a rate of one video per week, every Sunday, for the next 2 months or so. The online release of the conference, then, starts on Sunday 5th July.
